Favorite Authors Club

Did you know that we have a nifty feature in the SHARE catalog?  It's called "Favorite Authors Club" and it allows patrons to ask the system to automatically place "holds" on any newly catalogued items written by the author(s) that the customer has selected. Here's how to select your authors:

1.  From this web site's home page, click on the "Manage My Account" link (https://ent.sharelibraries.info/client/en_US/easttroy/) located at the upper right hand corner of the screen.  You will be connected to the SHARE catalog. 

2.  From the SHARE catalog home page, click on "My Account" at the top of the page.

3.  Enter in your barcode number and PIN.

4.  You should see several tabs near the top of the screen -- personal information, checkouts, holds, fines, favorite author club.  Click on "favorite authors club."

5.  At this point, the authors available in regular print will appear.  If you'd like to receive your books in regular print, check any authors whose books you'd like to receive and click submit.  If you prefer to choose authors in large print, click on the link on the top of the page and you can choose the authors whose books you'd like to receive in large print.
 

The "Favorite Authors Club" lists about 82 popular authors in regular print and 67 authors in Large Print.  Please note that patrons may only choose authors from one list or the other, regular or large print. 

While we offer several tools (such as the "favorite authors club") to enable patrons that want to interact more independently with our catalog, we also are happy to do things like find books, renew items, and select authors for you.  Just ask.
